Are You Preparing For The Worst... Or The Best

Are You Preparing For The Worst Or The Best

In a world where perception is everything—and where you create your reality through the beliefs you hold—ask yourself what are you preparing for?

Always Dress Up, Not Down

What do I mean by this?

When a storm is coming, you prepare by buying candles, water, food—things of that nature—to be ready for what’s to come.

And life is no different. We know how to prepare for crisis, but how many of us prepare for joy and surprise?

How many of us are preparing for the life of our dreams? What actions are we taking to lay a foundation that shows we have faith in the process?

Consider This:

You want a new job—but how are you setting up for it? Are you waiting to see how things turn out?

Why not live like it already is? Get excited. Call some friends over and shout them a drink or dinner.

“What for?” they ask.

“I’m celebrating my new job, and this is how I’m demonstrating faith that it already exists.”

Or perhaps improved living conditions

Are you walking like the man or woman you want to embody? Are you dressing like them—perhaps adding a nice accessory, a watch, or some jewelry? Are you behaving like them? How would that version of you spend their day?

Or are you dressing down?—doubting yourself, buying cheaply made things, settling for less, preparing for the worst, and then following through with actions rooted in lack, leading to more of the same?

Real-Life Example: once I wanted to move house. Even before I found the perfect place, I began taking action: packing, selling items I no longer needed, and cleaning my room to prepare it for the next chapter. Shortly after, the call came through, and I was off on my next adventure. It’s that easy.

The Bottom Line

You don’t have to wait for permission from reality to start living like the upgraded version of you.

Every time you dress up — literally and energetically — you send a signal:

“I’m ready. I believe it. I’m already there.”

So Today, Ask Yourself:

What’s one small way you can dress up for the life that’s coming?

A nicer outfit? A celebratory coffee? Packing one box? Telling one friend “it’s happening”?

Do It.

The universe loves a confident RSVP.

The Choice Is Yours.
